Sorry I am just making it around. I know how much the support on this board means. When she picked up the dog was she just getting home from her trip? To be completely honest my first reaction was that she was just tired from her trip and looking forward to getting home to relax. Even when my marriage wasn't on the rocks and I came home from a trip the only thing I could think of doing was getting into pj's, plopping on the couch and relaxing. You didn't mention anything odd about her behavior so my honest impression is that neither giving you hope or a feeling of akwardness crossed her mind and she was looking forward to relaxing. Keep your head up. You are doing great!!!
