A GF told me how she uses the 90 day rule for all types of R's. It is easy for someone to put up a front, be charming, etc. for 90 days. After that time, typically you start to see the real person. I have been using it myself with R's of all types including friendships and find that it really works.
You say that you have been seeing this guy for 3 months. Based on your posts, sounds to me like he has flunked the 90 day rule. Perhaps you started posting again b/c you felt in your gut that this guy was not quite right for you. Trust your gut.
Perhaps you should take a break away from him - not to get him back - but to get some distance and figure out if you want this R with him.
