I saw my lawyer yesterday to give him my financial records and he said he would get more spousal maintenance for me.
He also asked if reconciliation was possible, and I said on my part it was, but not H's. He said it would slow down the process a bit, but not stop it, so I told him to just let H have his D.
I requested a brand new last name in my petition, something that I just picked out of the air because I liked the sound of it. That way, I don't have H's last name as an albatross around my neck. It's my way of really starting fresh.
