It may look like it didn't all work out in the end...
but I could not have imagined as ending as the wonderful one I have now...nope...LSS didn't "come back."
well...he tried but I realized that I deserved much more...
my life is beyond what I had ever even dreamed it could be and there is peace and safety inmy life and in the life of my children that was not possible before.
LSS wasa special case but I believe that this situation was such a gift...such an opportunity for me to grow and challenge myself, find out things about me that I never knew.
I think a happy ending means something different when you actually reach it.
there are so many people who have had their marriages restored but those people have also changed...they meet challenges differently, they have grown and their spouse has grown...the marriage is almost like a new one with someone you ar esort of familiar with (or at least that is how it sounds) you have a history but you also come in again from a different vantage point.
There are people whose marriage wasn't restored but who have grown and changed, matured and moved beyond. These are success stories as well. We have known we did what we could to save our marriage but we also saved ourselves.
