That sounds like it must have been a heck of a wedding. But great that S18 reacted in a way that shows his respect for marriage- you've obviously done something right with him.
I'm with you in hoping for the hemochromatosis. Have you stopped the Vit C supplements? (If you were on any). And do you know if any of your relatives had it? It's one of the most common genetic conditions in the US isn't it, so statistics may be on your side- always reassuring. Also, has your GP/physician suggested getting the S's screened if you test positive?
Sorry- that questions thing has come out again. Science Girl rearing her head!
BTW Jeff, you know you're good for more than bringing home a paycheck and doing up the house don't you? Best parties and hugs on the board!!
L.xx
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart. And you'll never walk alone.
No news, I got stuck in the lab all afternoon, so I couldn't call the doc. There may be a message at home, I suppose. Tomorrow isn't going to be a good time to get him, but I am going to try early, and see what happens.
Lisa, I have stopped the vitamin C I was taking through the winter. I'm pretty sure that I have not had any relatives diagnosed with it, but I imagine they could still have it. It is supposed to be fairly common, as uncommon things go. Our doc wasn't thrilled at the idea of doing the genetic test on the kids, as once something like that gets into your records the insurance companies can be a real pain. So, he might do the screens that might show the symptoms, but unless there is a reason to he doesn't want to do the genetic screening.

Ditto!
You guys do know how to make a guy feel good! Too bad it hasn't been enough for W.
I have been singing in the key of Me Me Me lately Didn't know you had a health scare.....I join the legions who are wishing you good health.
Ironically enough, I was about to make a hot chocolate and Bailey's before bed (heater broken house is 55 degrees so need something warm!). Will toast to your health......
((((((BobbiJo)))))) That sounds good! Hope you get some heat soon! Thanks for the good wishes. It has been dragging on a while, labs, more labs, wait for an appointment with the specialist, more labs....
((((((beginnersmind)))))) Thanks. You guys (well, gals) are beyond great!
Yeah, you are right! See, as long as I don't talk to the doc, I've got the nice, simple, easy to treat condition! No liver biopsies, or any of that kind of stuff!
But, I have called, and left a message for him to call me, that I would like to know the results, and what is happening next!
