OK, read my 03/09/08 08:57PM post again (quoted above) . My youngest is 4 years old. So I figure the move to Florida will take place around 2028.

Hi Mark-

Just stopping by to say hello & that I hope you're having a good day! My little one will be 4 in about 2 weeks. If you don't mind, I might plan on joining you in FL in 2028 too! I think I could be ready for retirement about then.

Hey, my dad lives in Florida and I've been thinking of moving there too!!! Gosh, I even have a realtor sending me links of homes for sale out there (I had contacted her during the D). I was thinking I might buy an old Victorian in Springfield (northern Florida). Although I don't plan to go out there for quite a few years as well... but, evetually I'd like to..... maybe some of you might want to rent a room from me or nearby and we could all hang out on the beach and sip chocolate martinis on Saturday nights! \:D

(Boy Mark, you really started something here... A mass DBers exodus to Florida!!! Yikes, we'll all have to move over to the WAS board!!!!)

Yeah, well for me the "double-whammy" was leaving 20-degree temperatures and going to Florida for four days... then coming home and digging out of 14 inches of snow...

Update:

If you recall, in January, she opened up her own checking account, and ordered her employer to deposit her payroll into her own account. At that time, we agreed that I would (continue to) pay all of the bills, and she would deposit money into my account for this purpose. Tomorrow will be the fourth paycheck that she has received under this arrangement, yet she has made just one deposit into my account. The car payment and mortgage are currently delinquent (damaging my credit).

I sent her the following email message:
Attached is the most recent statement of our shared expenses. Tomorrow will be the fourth paycheck that you have received since moving to your own bank account. As of today, you have made only one deposit into my account.

The car payment is now 30 days delinquent, and as of Monday, the mortgage payment will also be 30 days delinquent.

Can you please help me understand your reluctance to share in the burden of our family's expenses?

Also, we are scheduled to meet tomorrow at lunch, presumably to discuss logistics for the divorce.
