No proposals Jen..and so no silk gowns to give out either. ;\)

SO....I didn't get the job. Ugh. I'm simply shocked but oh well. I met with three people from the company. One was the president...but it was very brief - maybe 10 minutes. There are two sides to the job Product and Operations. I've got the Product side down but I'm light on the Operations. Well the two guys I spent the most time with felt that the Product side was more important, really liked me and wanted to hire me. But the president felt that the operations side was of more importance and so he over-ruled them and they went with another candidate who was more operational. Ugh

Pretty bummed out but oh well. I did at least get an email today from this other company I've been talking with and they do want me in for an interview. And in truth...it's probably a job I'd rather be doing and the commute would be better too. So we'll see. Everything happens for a reason right?

So I'm heading out with P tonight and couple of her friends to drink my worries away. ;\) Should be fun. Sorry I don't have more alphebet news for you guys but I managed to toss one in for ya guys.

Hey...we are going to tie a few on tonight too

and

interviews suck

the right job is out there Toots

if you took the wrong job then you wouldn't get that right one

that probably makes no sense so lets just pretend I already tied a few on

Thanks Guys. Makes total sense Puddles...maybe i've already tied one on. ;\)

Thanks Rob. No biggie. Onward and upward. And actually if I can land this other one that I'm going to be interviewing for...it probably would be a better fit in many ways. It's in downtown Boston but I was talking to my buddy last night who commutes in and it doesn't sound too bad..plus i can even take the train now. Plus it would be pretty cool to be in town. So we'll see. \:\)

Scott,
What about the bike rep job? I was planning on getting my next tri-bike at cost! Come on now, where are your priorities?

Seriously though, you will indeed find a great job. As with everything in life, patience is everything!

Hey S2H.

Sorry about the job but it sounds like you did rock the interview. Keep us posted. Sounds like there are many great prospects coming your way and you're sure to find something soon. Keep that great attitude. I may be job searching and interviewing myself this summer so you'll be an expert and can give me advice. \:\)

Hey all! Long time no post.

On the train to Boston for a job interview. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Life is great...well besides being unemployed but even that has its benefits. \:\)

Took off to Fla with someone special on wed. Got back sat night. Flight home got screwed up bit I made it. Had an amazing few days though. My sister lives down there too so I got to see her too. So good to just chill in the sun for a few days drinking margs and spend time with a great girl who truly appreciates and accepts me for me. \:\)

Whadayaknow sometimes there are rainbows after the storm passes.

Hope everyone is great.
