It's been a tough couple of days. Sigh. Oh well, he is gone. He'll come on Sundays to visit the girls. I may see if I can get my work schedule changed to include Sunday's. Depends on how it goes. He didn't take much, so I know he'll be back to "move" all his stuff.
D13 is having a tough time and yet when I ask her she tells me not to worry about her, she's fine. She says she's more worried about me. Sigh. How lucky am I, that I have two angels living in my home to watch over me. The trick is, to not let them do the watching and worrying. That's my job. Still I cannot believe how awesome these girls are. Little wonders.
D15 has a wicked sense of humor. I made a comment yesterday about laundry (yes, I was really joking) and said that Dad's was done and the ashes were in the fireplace. She laughed, really laughed. Then said she knew I was joking (that I wasn't that person), but that it was funny. Perhaps my funny bone has not abandoned me.
I hope you're all having a good day. I'm going for not bad today and better tomorrow.
I'mnot doing badly, so for today that's good. Sunday's are the toughest b/c he comes to visit our D's and yesterday being Easter I was here more than I would have been otherwise.
However, it is spring break here and D's and I are going to do some painting, yardwork and rearanging of furniture. I'm also getting ready for a yardsale with a friend so I'll have plenty to keep me busy.
Hi Grace- I hope you and your D's were able to enjoy your Easter. Sounds like you have lots of projects going to keep busy...but you have always been good at that. You are inspiring...I wish I had your energy.
Are you still taking your classes? I admit I didn't sign up for any this semester due to schedules...but I will keep taking some classes on my to do list.
