You need to trust your instincts. There is nothing normal about where your R is with him right now. So stop trying to pretend otherwise by suggesting the things that you have been with him. Don't be afraid to give him his time to get his head back together. That is definetely what he needs. And you need some time apart from him as well.
Don't act contary to your instincts or against what you feel the Lord is directing you to do.
