We are just discovering each other again. Being friends and taking things slow...

It is still encouraging to me..

That is awesome. I wish I had done that! But I figure - if it happened once, it can happen twice ;\)

Date your wife. Treat her like a new girlfriend that you could lose with one misstep. Listen 5X more than you talk. Validate what she says, even if you totally disagree. "Yes, I sure can understand why you would feel that way" type of statements.

You are totally on the right track Fyremn...I will say what everyone has told me: It is dead easy to screw it up right now. She is on the fence. Let her come to you, be cool, be the rock.

Me: 54
Her: 50 and sexy as hell
M: 32yrs
T: 34yrs
Bomb: Sept 26-07 "lost our emotional connection"
Bomb 2: Dec 25-07 she's "not feeling desire"
She asked if she could come home Apr 26-08!
Everything's GREAT!

Ayup.

Remember ALL your lessons here. Go slow, and take your time. I am hoping Fyre that your story is one of the short ones.

That is exactly what it feels like, that I am dating my wife again..

One of the things my counselor told me was just to make short term goals for our relationship right now, lets try this for a couple of weeks and then take the temperature..

Thanks for your support..
