Happy B'day!

Yep, the anniversary is tomorrow. I plan on giving H a card. I don't expect anything from him. ...He may not even remember. We'll see.

Happy Birthday GF!

klm, another thing to consider is that since you are building a new relationship, your old anniversary hold a bit less importance in the grand scheme of things. But yes, no expectations. \:\)

Thanks Michelle and GF! Yes, I am trying not to put too much importance on today. I really don't have any expectations.

This morning I got an e-card from MIL that she also sent to H. It said "I know you are separated but officially you are still married so I wanted to wish you a happy anniversary. I love you both. Love, MIL". I thought that was sweet of her, not sure if H has seen it or not.

I plan on calling H after work today and going by and giving him his card.

Yes, I thought that was nice of my MIL. Actually H didn't see it, I asked him and he said he couldn't open it.

So yesterday we went to dinner. When I went to his apartment I took the card to him. I told him he could wait to read it later if he wanted. He said "Should I wait until tomorrow to open it?" I asked why and he said "Uh...because tomorrow is the 5th." I laughed and said "Uh...no TODAY is the 5th." He said REALLY???, I have been thinking it was the 4th all day! Then he said I'm sorry, I am such an idiot. I told him it was no big deal.

We had a nice time and I stayed at his apartment for a while after. When I left we hugged each other really tight and he gave me a kiss...a GOOD kiss.

I will see him again tonight so we will see if he says anything about the card....no expectations though.
