Saturday is H's b-day. It is also his weekend w/ Ds. D10 has a competition in the morning. I sent a text today to comfirm the times. She skates early but awards aren't until close to noon. Asked H if he will hang out and wait for her, or if I should bring her to him afterwards. No response yet. H has made no indication that we will go out for his b-day. I'm sure he would rather be w/ his BF than me. H did take Ds and me to dinner on my b-day 6 months ago, but he went kayaking in the morning. Thought that was kind creepy. Anyway, I ordered something for Ds to give him. I guess I should get him a little something, but I don't know what. Don't want it to be too personal. Ds and I are going to make him a carrot cake w/ cream cheese frosting from scratch.
