BIG HUGE HUGS TO YOU MMF!

(((((((MMF)))))))

Keep praying. I know you trust in God and the power of prayer. Keep it up but don't forget to pray for yourself as well as your wife. We get so wrapped up in our S's problems and issues sometimes that we forget that keeping ourselves spiritually and physically healthy has to take priority.

MMF, How are things?

I saw that you are feeling hopeless on the other thread. It will pass I'm sure. I feel the same way too sometimes.

Imageer, thanks buddy. I know these feelings come and go. In fact, I admit I still feel very sad but know that I will feel better in the next day or two. I need to take my eyes off of the circumstances. They usually lie.

Well, I decided to make a purchase. Before I got married, I did a lot of things without my W. In fact, during our M, I was the one with strong financial sense although I trusted and respected her opinion. I had to put some restrictions though because she always felt that we could handle most any debt.

I am getting a car. It is not brand new but it looks and drives brand new. The important things is that the car is relibable and gets much better mpg than my SUV.

Plus it has every feature you can get with the exception of the DVD Navigation feature. It has heated driver and passenger seats, both powered as well, 6 Disc CD changer, dual climate controls, leather interior, power moonroof, red exterior with a spoiler (to keep the tires down on the ground while I break the speed barrier -- Punk, you didn't hear me say that ;\) ), and lots more goodies including a lighted vanity mirror for the ladies (or confused men -- but not in my car)!

What does this have to do with MLC? Nothing except that I have held off getting a new car and I can't wait any longer. I want to be able to feel free to drive more with and without my kids. When you get 11 - 12 mpg on your SUV at these prices, it tends to curtail your travels.

I feel like a roadtrip coming on!
