Well, I had bought GF a card last week and just felt like the time might be right so I mailed it this morning. Nik advised mailing after my birthday but I didn't want to wait that long (end of month). It was supposedly "generic", "thinking of you", wished her "peace for her soul, joy for her spirit and love for her heart." Hope that's not too obvious. I just signed it - K. We'll see what happens.
Thanks Michelle. I'll be happy if she doesn't return it unopened. I just have a fear of that. I'm going to think positively though. I know better than to expect a call or anything. I just wanted to "stay on the radar" as my shrink says.

Thanks for the support. Yes, it is very scary not knowing what's going to happen next. I'm hopeful and trying to think positively though. I'm even to the point where I'm going to be OK if the reaction is negative. I trust that God has a GREAT partner waiting for me whether it's GF or someone new.

Just an update... No news regarding the "card." That's possibly good. I'm doing great. Miss her of course and want her back, but I am happy and no longer grieving and moping around sad. Thank you God! and thanks to all of you!
