It's long past time for a conversation between members and the moderators. Seems to me it would go a long way towards making things right if one of our moderators would start a thread here explaining what has been going on to some extent at least.
The reinstatement of some of the banned members, and the reinstatement of Sandi tonight are positive signs I think. We need to see RCR rightfully reinstated as well.
We've seen this thread and others like it survive the day, which is more than a bit of a surprise. Perhaps that is a positive sign too. Or maybe our moderators just have been unavailable.
Talk to us. Tell us what the concerns are. Tell us what you can no longer tolerate and a bit of the reason why. Explain the changes made to the location of resources that have been so useful to so many.
Then maybe listen to us a bit. Hear what we have to say. Give us a forum to talk, so we don't have to SHOUT.
Most of all, let these forums become once again a SAFE place for people to seek help and offer help. Let us know that we can reach out to others and not fear being removed from a community that has come to be important to many of us.
How hard would this be?
Unprecedented perhaps. Hard? No.

Hi everyone, I'm back. First I want to thank my special cheerleaders, or angels (which ever the case) for coming to my rescue. Secondly, I owe an apology to the people that controls the spamming---or whatever it is. I honestly did not know what I did (and I honestly don't know what spamming is, but I will try not to do it anymore).
I was up half the night in my excitement thinking I was helping some people who were like me and could not honestly afford books that they so desperately need at that moment. Also, I really, really wanted all the men who were LBH to get that free email information that would help them understand females better.
At first, I thought I had posted too much at one time. I kept looking for an explanation. I tried to email the DB moderators but got no response. I thought my email was in my profile, that was how one of the cheerleaders found me. So I was up the rest of the night trying to figure out how to make contact or what I did wrong. I hope you will overlook my ignorance b/c they did not have words like "spamming" in my language as I was growing up. I have heard the word but did not know I was doing the deed. I truly wanted only to help get the word out and hopefully save a marriage or two.
The funny thing (or sad) is that I first thought I had been banned b/c I had come down too hard on a man I had recently posted to. After reading what a sweet little grandmother I am (lol) I am kind of embarrased to tell you any difffert, but like some other people, (I shall leave nameless), I can talk a bit sharp when I feel it is needed, (just ask my kids). In this case, I tried to be gentle at first, but he kept whimping out, so I thought he needed a switch to his behind and told to step up and be a man.....so that is what I did (in so many words). However, I suppose that didn't have anything to do with being banned at all.
I have seen many folks recommend certain web sites, so it must have been the price on the books issue.......for that I do apologize b/c I did not stop to think that Michelle's business would probably not benefit from "used book" profits. Now, I feel pretty stupid.......I think I now know what spamming must be! Hummmmmm........live and learn.
Anyway, again thanks to you who went to bat for me and to you who allowed me another chance.

If everyone is so upset, why don't you just start your own forum, like everyone did on the SSM board? Google Groups is easy, and there's now over 60 members there. SSM is a virtual ghost town.
It seems to me from reading this thread, that you all care more about each other, and GET more from each other, than you do from the moderators and all the "Solution Journal" stuff. So why not just start your own forum, instead of decrying the censorship? The site belongs to MWD, and she can do as she pleases with it.

I think this is going to work out. Call me crazy. The problem with a new forum is that the point isn't for those f us that already know each other to post to each other, it's to also be here for people who find this site every day. I'm planning to be patient, and see what happens. I don't think what is happening now was anyone's real intention. So, I will wait. If a new forum has to come, I'll probably be there, but that's my second choice.
well i had no idea RCR has been banned....shame on you mods. I see why the uproar over Sandis's books over at you know where. but i think when someone is banned they should recieve an email saying why. Most of the people who so desperately are here do NOT have the financial means for the db coaching. that is why they are here. some of them dont even have health ins! unless you have lived this sh!t...you really dont understand the total dynamics either. that is why this forum is so beneficial. I think the solution journals should have their own forum not on the MLC forum...it really takes away from us. if this continues i would follow our group to yahoo or google or wherever. if you you look at all the forums mlc is always the high count of viewers.
