It went really well last night. Her cake may not have won any awards (literally) but it must have been the best tasting. Out of over 30 cakes, hers was gone first. She seemed to be complimented about it.

Also, she interacted during the award ceremony which was great. The last time she got involved was a couple of years ago. Even though she verbally acted like she didnt want to be there she seemed like she was glad she was.

She also made other plans with the kids including having our son go to a youth group at a church her friend attends. She asked me if I could pick him up afterwards because she has to go to work before they are done for the evening.

I keep praying that she gets more involved with them and it looks like she is now.
