Today I put my sweet NOBLE great dane to sleep. She went peacefully and very happy to see her biggest love...my H. She had been horribly sad since he left our home and today when he walked into the vet's she jumped at him and was so excited to see him...I knew then, that no matter what I would have done, she would never have been happy, for she had lost her great love....she adored him.
I held her, and told her I was sorry, I prayed for her and told her I loved her....she went peacefully...
You know, it's weird, but laying in bed right now, I 'feel' her prescence around me....as if she's still right at the bottom of the stairs taking care of me.
I miss her allready. I loved her.
