Cinders, everyone here is right on the money about you and I love what your kids said because it came from them. I agree with ACJ that your H probably knows it too (deep down inside). Can you imagine what it is like for a "man" to be told by his 4 year old son that he is doing the wrong thing? Wow!

You have some great kids Cinders. Truly a reflection of their mother!

And it is okay to want to give up every now and then. In fact, you have done so much already. Just get back up on that horse again, little sis.

If we could peer into the future, I think it would be much easier to be patient and wait this out. I think this is why this place is so important. We can blow off steam and then start anew.

I wish I could be there for you tomorrow regarding your dog. Think of all of your friends here being with you when you go.
