Not very well. Unless something within him has drastically changed, he will bring his real personality, baggage and everything to that new place and then reality will set in...not pretty.

I have read stuff about the "Knight in Shining Armor" thing as well and believe it to be true. I know the OW in my H's case is very dysfunctional and is addicted to gambling just like he is. She has a D12 and lives with her parents...

They are a match made in heaven (eye-roll!! lol!)

My mom always told us, "Don't ask for something you really don't want because you just might get it" and I think it is so true with these types of relationships. Eventually reality has to come into play...I hope.
