I keep having to do double takes every time Lisa's name comes up since that is OW's name and she is currently doing a year abroad in Manchester.

Nothing personal, but it usually doesn't get a good first response from me at this point.

Re: calories. You did mention a pool, swimming laps would help.

I'll call Lisa One Day, then. She's in London, and does not sound at all like OW!

I guess the pool would work... they have a hot tub, too!

Oooh, I love hot tubs. And pools. And baths and showers, and generally just water. Even rain and thunderstorms as long as it's warm rain or I'm not stuck out in it freezing my butt off lol. My H used to tell me I was half fish and half lizard (referring to my ability to find the sunny spot to bask in) lol.

I'm sure we can also come up with other ideas to work off all the food. ;\)

The name thing is fine, I'm getting over the double take factor. And no, she sounds nothing like OW. No one on this BB does. There is a fundamental psychological disconnect between the people who are here working on their M/R and someone who would knowingly and willingly have an ongoing A with a married man. Besides, I don't actually refer to OW by name, like ever. On here she is OW, with my friends, she is SBW (short for things that if I wrote here would get censored I think lol).

Jeff, when you say all our names together we sound like quite the gang. OK, so we have the food, the drink, the pool, the music and the games, anything else we missed? I havent been to a grand party in quite awhile. I think we have it all covered, what does everyone else think?

It's been fun just thinking about it! The number of really good people that I'm met here is incredible! I would so really like to meet so many of them!

I think we may need more food! But that's a good thing!

Ok...I get it now...operation shock my wife IS the party. I was a bit slow to catch on there, I have a fluey thing !

Why dont you throw a party...for your W !?? Make all her favourite food, dress up nice, invite her best friends. Make her drink champagne, you never know, she might even crack a smile :-/

I dont know! If all else has failed, what else do you have to lose !??

I dont think this is one of the DB techniques though!

I've got a game we can play at the party...that is when all of the chores are done...

Darts...

Everyone can bring a picture of their choice and we can all play while we talk and mingle.

I'm sure the chatter will be such a learning experience.

Maybe the dart game will be such a release to the frustrations of our situations.

And also it must be fun...No angry darts that would be dangerous beside we're in this as friends...right?

Just an idea.... ;\)
