Rob #9 - Don't Stop Believin'

Hi gang,

Just a little journaling - it's been a while since I posted.

Life in the Sex Starved Marriage department is going slowly, but I am remembering Time and Patience, just like I keep telling all the newbs.

W and I finally ML this weekend. W was not very enthusiastic, which in the old days would have sent me into a funk. I kept up my PMA, though, and she eventually came around. Things ended unexpectedly, but we kept our sense of humor about it and it was OK. Let's just say, when the bottle of "warming" massage lotion says "OK for use on intimate areas"... don't you believe it!!!

Just finished listening to the audio book of "Eat, Pray, Love", which I know several people around here have read. I had a real love/hate relationship with it. I enjoyed the author's journey of self discovery - but the early sections, describing her descent into MLC Craziness and abandonment of her H, were pretty hard to take. I just wanted to slap her - hey, lady, don't you know what you did to that poor guy dropping the bomb on him? And now you can't figure out why he is angry and can't just forgive you and end it as friends? Hmmmph. Stoopid aliens.

W and I are back to swing dancing. Finally found a good group - mostly 20- and 30-somethings, but they really are working to build a local "dance community" and typically have at least a couple events going a week, in addition to the lessons. Gotta keep practicing, I still have two left feet!
