I think this would be a great 180! Eat, drink, look at the flowers, avoid the cactii, and get the laundry done! W couldn't possibly have a problem with it!
Bring sunscreen! Well, actually you could buy it here, and avoid silly FAA rules! But you might want to bring a hat!
If we do it in May I can call it a graduation trip (even though I'll still have summer school).
On the sunscreen, I don't remember it being as bad in Tucson (relatively speaking since I'm used to the summers here) but in Sierra Vista, due to the elevation and thinner ozone layer or something, I burned pretty easily - weird for me since I tan pretty good.
Oh yeah, and watch out for Jumping Cacti! Although Prickly Pear Margaritas are GOOD!

Hey Jeff, saw you on my thread, thanks! I am on the east coast and would love a visit to your part of the country. You can tell your wife I'll come and make you clutter free. Now we just need to think of some other things the other ladies can do and maybe she'll be ok with it. What do you think?
Sorry about your washing machine. 20 years is a good run isnt it?
Ok so, we are talking May now right? Jeff, I am just picturing your face and your wife's if 20 or so of your lady friends from the boards ever showed up with drinks, food, party poppers, games and music at your door. Pretty funny
May sounds good to me! I might be able to sell her on the clutter free! She hates clutter, and I am a packrat! Well, not literally, since they are kind of nasty creatures, and they munch on the sires under your hood, and disable you car! And I have never done that! Anyway, that would be an intersting sell....I have this friend, she'll take care of the clutter for a week's room and board...and this other friend, she likes to paint, and this other woman likes to cook, etc.! How could she complain? I'm sure we could think of good excuses, and with so many, no one would have to work much! We might have to use the neighbpr's pool, since we dont' have one, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind, if we brought food and drink!
I think I can fix the dryer, for about $30. It is 22 years old, but it wasn't used for about 5 years while we were in Europe. I just need to get the part, and make some time!
It is fun to imagine such a gathering! What could she say if you all really showed up? She'd have to question something, you'd think!
