80 degress in Feb!!....I want to be where you are.

Sunshine and clotheslines...ahhhhhh

I'm tired of the cold and snow...and clouded over days.

Hey let me know when the party starts... I'll be there with sandles, shorts and some nice cold, iced cappuccinos!

I'm with you E! I've had it with the cold and snow. I'm not sure if I remember what 80 degrees feels like!

Jeff- Good job getting that clothesline fixed. W may not say anything, but she'll notice eventually. Have you started the compliment per day project yet?

(((((WCW)))))(((((E)))))(((((MichelleLT)))))(((((new_attitude)))))

Only about 70 today! Tomorrow, 75. I think we may have seen the last of what we refer to as winter!

I didn't say anything about the clothesline, and didn't get to leave a note! I had to use the darned thing! While I was "in town" picking up my kludge to fix it, S18 broke the dryer! Well, he didn't actually break it, the shoes that had run through it the night before had wedged in, and gotten the drum off center. I told him to try to turn it by hand, and a plastic bearing piece broke. So, I now have a new project! I have to order the part, and then take the darned thing apart to fix it, which I recall not being fun! I noticed "discontinued" next to a lot of parts for it, we got it in '86, what's up with that?

I am working on how to convince W that it is ok for a whole bunch of you wonderful women to come visit, and stay in the house. It is just a bit of a challenge, I might need some help here! This time of year is really nice, and we are supposed to have great wildflowers this spring, since we actually had rain over the "winter".

I sort of started the compliment project, but I need to document them, instead of just thinking I did it.

In other news, I got to change a tire on the way to work today, I had one shred to pieces on the interstate! Let's just say it is well past repair! And I made six lasagnas yesterday, we will use some of them next weekend when S19 is here prior to his deployment to Djbouti, Africa. Hopefully they'll be good! He called yesterday, said they've finished their training, and it isn't clear why they can't be on leave already, but he can't do anything about it. He'll get here Friday around noon, and leave Monday morning. So, very short, but he is looking forward to it!

A 180! After your house was full of women from all over the world your W might really appreciate the men she has in her house! Wow, wouldn't she just go nuts?

I'm thinking you'd all need to show up at the some time! Maybe while she's out. Then, she gets home, and there's food and wine, and games, and oh, lots of lovely ladies! What would she do? After she fainted, anyway?

Lol. Sounds like it is time for a new dryer.

It's kinda amusing to try and picture that conversation...."hey honey, would you mind if we had a few people over one weekend?" We better get a move on though unless we plan on being rained out every afternoon!

Wow, that'll be interesting to have such early flowers. Last time I was in AZ, there weren't many flowers til May when the rains really hit.

I also need to join you on the compliment project. Although instead of one a day it'll be one/two every time we talk.

Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned.

We've got 'til July before we'll have much rain, I think the winter is about over! The monsoon storms are cool, anyway, but the rest of the day is HOT! So that's it, I'll have a few people over....

There are some penstamens blooming already. The hummingbirds like them. I think there will be lots of flowers this spring!

Humid is relative! (HA!) Humid for here doesn't even scratch the surface for really humid places! But it doesn't take a lot when it is 105! March or April would be a much better choice! Though, if you were here in the monsoon, and wearing T-shirts, and a storm came by.....SLPA! SLAP! SLAP!
