Thanks to all. No comes the 23K bill. There's never a good time for a divorce, but this is just ridiculous timing, should it occur. D17 will have to do what I did. Pay off a huge loan. Again, though, I beleive that she truly has to be "miserable" (in the marriage)as she previously described herself. On of her lines alsoo was "If you think I want anything other than a divorce, you're mistaken"
