Lol. The high tomorrow is 54. If it got up to 80 right now, I'd be in shorts and a tank top and still probably thinking it was hot.
I always hate that adjustment period. In two months I'm gonna look back and be happy if I can get the house below 80 at night (without using the AC since I am a starving student after all) to sleep.
Looks like it's a smaller party tonight. But I make real good Irish coffee. I don't cheat with Bailey's, and my H even showed me how to layer it with a spoon. XD

Yep, summer is coming! We try not to AC too much either, the spinning dial adds up fast! The monsoon season is the worst, because of the extra humidity.
The Irish coffee sounds great! The party is smaller, but that's ok. It is nice to talk to someone, and just be comfortable with it! How are your classes going? You had a compressed one already done, right? Reading your threads, you really impressed me! I wish Uncle Sam would give folks like your H more tools to deal with this! Maybe it would have happened anyway, but I know you are not the only couple to be seriously damaged by the war.
Yep, one done. I'm working on a paper, theoretically at the moment lol. I have a section of it due on Monday. I'm actually doing it on the don't ask, don't tell policy. When finals roll around in May I'll actually only have one more final, so that'll be nice.
My H definitely is a different person coming back from his deployment. The military screening process is not as good as it should be. Unfortunately it's hard to force someone to take ADs or get help. It is sad though. The guys coming back from combat right now have the highest D and suicide rates in the country. That's one thing that gives me patience, I am sympathetic to what he's going through and I hope that when he does work through it all he'll see me in a different light.
However, on a more positive note, I'm gonna break out the whiskey. Of course, I need coffee....hmmm, need to get that ASAP. Instant doesn't do the trick lol. Good thing there's a 24 hr supermarket down the street! Ooh! I found chocolate covered pretzels in my pantry!

Chocolate covered pretzels are good! I think we'll have a nice evening!
Little snacks and Irish coffee, and good company. And a paper to write, but everything can't be perfect! At least the subject is one that you should be able to write on without too much trouble.
Well, not a bad way to work on a paper if I've gotta. Got Miss Congeniality on in the background, snacks, Irish coffee, and internet distractions lol. Good times shall be had by all. :-)

I've got my laptop, and the cat, who sometimes competes for the same space as the laptop! She appears on my bed within minutes after I get here, no matter what the time of day! Cat radar, I guess! She likes to sleep on top of my legs, so that I can't move!
And I am reading the 5 Love Languages. Maybe I'll learn something useful. For the past couple years it has seemed like W's LL is "Stay the heck away from me!" Maybe I'll discover something different!
That's a wonderful book. I actually got the CD (that was what was quickly available through the library) when I first got worried about how H was acting/feeling (before I knew about the A and before he told me he wanted a D).
My H always used to joke that we couldn't have a cat because I'm allergic, but he didn't need one because I could purr and if I was feeling too ignored I'd come over and lay on him whether he was on his computer or reading a book or whatever. Of course, after he said that, I took that as free rein to literally crawl in his lap on top of his book and distract him. Somehow I don't think my roommate would appreciate it much lol.

Well, I'm all partied out even with the time difference. (It is 1 hr this time of year right???) Too early a morning for me with work and I need to sleep to get over this darn flu.
Night night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!
