Michelle- I am on the SE side of Tucson, but I figure that if someone got to Phoenix, at interstate speeds, it would be a shame to miss them! Sierra Vista is closer, though. Ft. Huachucha, I'm guessing, since you play Army!
Essie- The clothesline is fixed! S18 only drilled a small hole in my hand! Actually it was a glancing blow, so more of a scrape than a hole. Got my attention, though!
Kathleen- I think I've improved on my eye-rolling. We'll see how that plays out. I'm not opposed to paying a bit of money for help, I am going to see how things go, now that I have a bit of a plan, before I make any decisions in that area. I am going to (you like that Essie?) get this room cleaned out tomorrow. I like it better that way. I just have to keep it that way onnce it gets there. The closet will be another project, that will really help though. It really needs to be gutted, and redone. That will take a bit of planning, rather than jut work. Though the first wave of throwing away should just take time.
Yay! Very proud of you for fixing the clothes line. You are a wonderful caring H, and I'm sorry that W is so unhappy that she doesn't realize it. I will be watching this space for your cleaning updates!! Are all women programed to be naggers?!? Ha ha! You thought this board was your safe haven, but its full of other women who are going to be on your case about housework!! HUGS!
I remember my first hard drive and home built pc. It was a 10MB hard drive I found I could reformat to 20MB. I was certain I would never need another hard drive as long as I lived. If you have bought a new pc in the last hundred years you know how foolish I was.
Since then I have learned a simple relationship between hard drives and work benches in the garage. They both collect junk until they are fully consumed and rendered useless. I no longer have a work bench and try not save anything on the hard drive that won't help me pay taxes at the end of the year.
I have not done quite so well with the rooms in my house, but I do work on it steadily. Let go of the past. Clear the junk from your life, and live clearly. The idea that all that stuff is needed, or has value is the illusion that distracts us and diverts our mind from the really important things in life.
Jeff, here's my two cents. My sister had a home that is filled to the rim - clutter central. I am the opposite. I was always trying to get her to get rid of stuff. One day I went to her house and said, just try it. Just get rid of one thing. Well, by the end of the day, she was tossing things like crazy. She said it was the most freeing thing she has ever done. Not once has she said, I wish I didnt throw ____ out. Clear spaces brings a clear mind.
So thats my little story, now back to the party - how about some fondue? Oh I know, what about hot wings?
Congrats on the clothes line, good luck on the next project. Glad to hear there were only minor injuries.
Yes, I'll be at Ft. Huachuca for training. But yeah, the way people drive on I-10 it's not that far even to Phoenix lol. I loved it up there (I say up because of the elevation). I'd seriously consider moving down to the Tucson area.
I think everyone deserves a drink, especially Jeff - as an analgesic and a congrats on the project!

(((((beginnersmind))))) Fondue and hot wings! Good thinking! We just had actual real strawberries dipped in chocolate. The kids were very pleased!
I am a packrat. Maybe there is a 12 step program? I really need to address this, I think!
(((((MichelleLT))))) Yeah, Tucson is a bit higher than Phoenix, and hence 5 or 10 degrees cooler in the summer, which is a big deal! And Ft. Huachucha is higher still!
Fortunately the damage to my hand is pretty minor, no analgesic required! It was probably a pretty close call, if we ould see the instant replay! But a drink doesn't sound like a bad idea at all!
No lightning here. But I had about 3 minutes of "video" on my digital camera from when I was down there of a rainstorm where you can see these blinding flashes of light and you can hear the thunder. The lightning there was amazing. Especially outside the city where there is no light. It's just spectacular.
Cheese....I have extra sharp cheddar, dubliner, and some swiss. It's also turning into a hot cocoa night with all the rain. Or maybe Irish coffee - I have Jamisons!

I really like the monsoon lightning. I can walk the dog i the evening, look up ad see stars, and yet have lightning on all sides. The only bad time is when you are on a gold course, as far from the clubhouse as you can get, and the sky opens up!
I like your choice in cheese! I think we'll have a good evening. I think Irish Coffee would be a good choice. We had a nice sunny 70 today, supposed to be 80 tomorrow. Of course, that means hot isn't far behind!
