I remember my first hard drive and home built pc. It was a 10MB hard drive I found I could reformat to 20MB. I was certain I would never need another hard drive as long as I lived. If you have bought a new pc in the last hundred years you know how foolish I was.
Since then I have learned a simple relationship between hard drives and work benches in the garage. They both collect junk until they are fully consumed and rendered useless. I no longer have a work bench and try not save anything on the hard drive that won't help me pay taxes at the end of the year.
I have not done quite so well with the rooms in my house, but I do work on it steadily. Let go of the past. Clear the junk from your life, and live clearly. The idea that all that stuff is needed, or has value is the illusion that distracts us and diverts our mind from the really important things in life.
