Good luck today! I hope you are feeling at least a little better. Be careful with the taxes, I have to confess that I am not trusting this guy too much right now! Come and visit for food and drink any time....might still be some chocolate and strawberries around!

I got off work early, my manager took one look at me this morning and said she'd send me home ASAP. Unfortunately I was the only one there until 12. But, I'm alive, and slowly feeling better, so I think a nap is in order, then get tax stuff together, then call H, and off I go.

If he brings up the summary dissolution one more frackin' time, I swear I'm NOT gonna throw something at him, as bad as I'll want to.

Well, met with H to work on taxes. Ended up at Chipotle because his internet was down (I guess it's up now since he's on IM - I wonder if he just freaked out at the thought of me coming over to his house?). I walked up and gave him a hug. He was a bit hesitant at first, but we went in and he bought me lunch. We got the taxes done mostly. He's gonna finalize them and send me a copy. I have to meet with him later this week to sign them.

Looks like we're getting about $670 back each on the federal taxes. Not sure about state yet. But, it is definitely an improvement.

Not great conversation. Hard to talk to someone who is totally engrossed in their computer with a lot of background noise. But I got some people watching in and tried to just be helpful and let him do his thing. It's definitely a 180 for me to let him do things, not jump in and do it. It was hard to be chatty and happy though since I was slightly bored, sick, and a bit tired.

Not sure what the verdict was DB-wise. When we went to leave, H gave me a hug. I actually had to shift stuff in my hands to hug him back. And he didn't once bring up anything related to D. Nor did he comment on me wearing my rings (H is not wearing his still).

Oh, and he apparently wants to try out for Last One Standing next summer. I honestly had to hide my reaction of "what about getting a job or finishing school or paying off your student loans?" He was always interested in fitness, and got WAY into it while he was deployed, and I could support that. But in that case, why not actually finish studying for his personal trainer's certificate and quit paying thousands of dollars for a college degree that he's barely using? I mean, I'm not putting down his dreams, but he's firing off in so many directions here. I can only think of military analogies. But it's like he's laying cover fire in so many directions he's forgotten which way friendly lines are.

Plus, I can't even imagine being married to someone who is on TV. But then again, I'm sure he'll D me before he gets rich and famous so he doesn't have to share any of it with me.
