yeah. And then weekends are always quiet. i am upset today. I had a very unpleasant run-in with the husband across the street.
It's a long stor, but I'll try to make it short. He owns an RV the size of a city bus. He parks it on the street whenever he feels like and it blocks my driveway. On monday, he had the bus on the street and my next door neighbor had a moving van as he was moving in. The 2 huge vehicles were directly opposite each other on the street and no cars could get through. The street is a circle, so people can turn around and go the other way, though.
This is one of those gated communities with lots of rules. Of course, not parking RVs on the street is one of the rules. I got angry and called the homeowners association and reported his RV being parked on the street and blocking traffic. They sent him a letter informing him of the rule and telling him not to do it again or he will be fined.
So today I went out for a walk after sitting and working on the computer for hours. As I got back to the house he started yelling at me across the street. Calling me names and saying that "people in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks" that he would get me too. I politely said, " there's no point in being mean to me. You shouldn't block the street." And then the torrent of yelling went on. I walked into the house and he yelled at me the whole time I was walking.
I am very upset because I don't want to live across the street from a crazy person. I'm not his wife. I don't have to listen to his yelling.
I've promised myself if it happens again I will call the police. But I doubt they will do anything. And if that RV comes back I am calling the homeowners association immediately. I've put up his bad behavior for too long.
