Another thread locked.....I think I'm typing too much..

Well, D15 went to the doctor and has two different eye infections..one in each eye...poor kid...it looks terrible...

Emailed H to let him know and to see if he could pick D up at volleyball tonight and he said yes...

then I asked if he was going to drive us to the tournament on Sunday..it's an all day event and it is 1 hr and 15 minutes away.He said he would drive us...Now I have to act as if...this is going to be hard but I can do it..No R talk, nothing..of course he still has a few days to back out...but maybe he won't..

Advice on the drive there?

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's eye infections. Do they know what caused them? I'm sure the medication will work rather quickly since it was caught early.

Well..about the drive, keep the conversation very light and simple, that is if he talks at all. Plan to take a book to read just in case he's Mr. Grumpy and doesn't want to talk. You can always talk about your daughter, the tournament and the scenery. Just keep the conversations away from relationship talks.

I have a lot of faith in you. You'll do just fine! Just remember to follow his lead when it comes to talks. Listen and validate whenever it is necessary.

Let him lead. Don't talk about missing him, what he is doing, how much you love him. Talk about your pole dancing lessons! Or a TV show, or anything else that's neutral. Or just shut up and look out the window! You won't regret the things you don't say, in this situation!

Eye infections are a result of a cold she just got over...and the dirty gyms for volleyball..I hate to think of what grows in those gyms...blah....anyway, she'll be fine in a few days...

As for the conversation..I plan on bringing a book but everything I'm reading has to do with bringing myself through a crisis, mid life crisis...db over and over...etc..guess I'll have to find something else..I need some smut...
If I talk about pole dancing he would probably laugh...and I'm serious...I'll just wait for him to talk first...I would love to hear his laugh right now..haven't heard that in a while...he saves it for his friends and his sister's house, cause they think nothing is wrong with him...hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........maybe I'm the one going nuts...

Well, the snow is starting, I'm praying for a snow day tomorrow....I need to clean the house before the health department shuts me down..LOL!!! well not that bad....

Question of the night.....YR, SF, Snodderly,DH, whoever wants to answer...Did your H's ever tell you it has nothing to do with OW, that you will just have to accept it and move on..that he doesn't feel like hugging you?

Do you think when I was gone last week he looked around the house to see if I changed anything?

And I borrowed a shirt from him to take to retreat because it gets cold there and it was a pull over thing, well I put it in his suitcase, that I also borrowed, for him to take back with him and when I went downstairs today I noticed he layed it down there. Does he not want it anymore? I didn't ask him about it. Just act like I don't know it's there...thoughts?

Ok, skip the shirt thing, evidently I forgot to put it in the suitcase...so I don't have cooties.

H just left..brought D15 home about 7:30 and came in to see son. I told him I had made a roast if he wanted to eat some of it and he did...sat on the couch with S and I kind of walked back and forth from kitchen to living room giving him time with kids..he started to fall asleep on the couch..he must be keeping late hours.. Anyway, we were figuring out D15 schedule for school next year..H was nice.. and came in to the kitchen where me and the kids were and so I went upstairs..he was leaving, told the kids he loved them and checked my car and left...I just said bye & be careful (weather is getting bad)...

so that was my evening...no R talk, no tears, no ILY, although when he told the kids my heart dropped..I long to hear those words...but no expectations..one minute at a time. I think I handled it well..I left the room before he did and let him be with kids...

very proud of myself...I think he knows how much I love him...

I feel good even if him being nice to me was all a show....
