My appt. at my C went better today than two weeks ago. I made it thru the whole session w/out a tear. I had a lot of positives to share and she was proud of some of the things I did. Funny how she keeps pointing out my H's flaws. I guess I must really love him still because I overlook them. She does want me to step up to the plate though and try to get H to open up to me. I have missed some opportunities to do that. She pretty much thinks I'm afraid to do it because I'm afraid of what he will say. Duh.
Positives that came out in session: 1. H still hasn't moved a thing out of the house. 2. H still comes in the morning to take D to school and comes by each evening. 3. H invited me to dinner w/ him and Ds on v-day. 4. H invited me to movie last Sat. 5. H is having reminder calls for appts. made at the house not his cell. 6. H is seeking more help for himself. 7. H seems to be more a part of the family for the past week and a half. Even though I have confronted H in a couple of text, he seems to be leaning into the family rather than pulling back. 8. H still has not communicated that he wants a D and I have seen no papers.
