They don't want us, but they don't want anyone else to have us either. How sick is that?

This seems to be so true. They are all smug when they leave and have OW in their arms and watch us as we hurt and wait for them. Then when we finally feel strong again and find our way and yes find a new R, they can't handle it.

I could very easily introduce him to someone i start to date.

Oh, I can't wait as I'm sure he'll find everything wrong with the new guy. Why shouldn't you feel at ease introducing him to J, afterall, you are now free to move on.

I try to forgive him everyday, I don't want to be bitter I don't want to hate him

Forgiveness is what we aim for and once we are there, we know that we are much better for it. You are awesome and I know good things will come your way.
