I'm in Bakersfield....Trip was long...So are you ready for this..... The jeep was in the garage and son and W came out to see me off... I gave W a big long hug... Kissed her and said I am real nervous. She said I know you are. Don't worry everything is going to be fine. The she wanted to take a picture of me driving away so I gave her my camera and drove down the street. When I passed by the house She took a pic. Then I backed up to get my camera and she leaned in and I gave her a kiss and I said "I love you" and then.....I KNOW I heard it she said" I love you too” Now she said it real low... And I don't know if she meant it or it was a reflex... But I do know she has been real careful NOT to say that for the last 10 months... Even if it was a mistake this is the FIRST time in 10 months she has said it.
So I am traveling down the road and about 4 hours into my trip my phone rings.... It's W... She wants to know how I’m doing. If I got lost or what ever...I told her I was about 100 miles from Bakersfield and aside from the CHP stopping behind me when I pull over to take a pee... Everything was going good... I called her when I got her to let her know I made it. I also talked to son..... I refrained from the I love you to her because I don't want to push it..... Son and I did do the "I love you more" thing we do...
Well I guess I will read some and then TRY to go to sleep...
