So, H called afterwards while I was teaching . H was clearly upset because of a letter my lawyer sent. Saying it wanted more than what i would settle for.
So I called him back and told him I am not out to rob him I just want what is fair. What i like about me now, I handle it with such ease. I am not afraid to speak up and I did it nicely.
Anyway, I told him in that he told me it didnt matter if I settled and I didnt want this. I told him I did not want him to suffer and he knew that.
H responded: What is going to happen is going to happen. Ill get a second job or something I dont need time off.
I responded : You know I dont want that. Think about it.
and he didnt respond.
On to the deposition.
It went really well. His lawyer was very nice. As soon as D7 walked in with me he said "Thank God you have your mothers looks" So he just asked me a bunch of questions about my house, visitation, and my career. I'm telling you, I think H's lawyer is rooting for me.
So As we were leaving I told his lawyer what he said about not divorcing me and not being able to afford his lawyer. He just smirked and said "that would be great and all . Im all for reconciling ..well you have a good lawyer. Like the old saying goes "it's cheaper to keep her". He also got mad when he heard H said he couldnt afford to pay him.
I do believe even H's lawyer is on my side. It went really really well.
