Good for you. I have been thinking about this. It would seem natural that you and OM's W would have alot in common, and a good reason to talk or keep notes.
I can think of at least two really good reasons not to.
One the possible problems of things leading from crying on each others shoulders. Not saying it would happen; saying it could happen. You're going to be very vulnerable, the easiest way to avoid temptation is to remove temptation.
The other, lets say you both develop a purely plutonic friendship, and become very good friends. Down the road your wife comes back, lets make this a real happy story and lets say her H goes back to her as well. Your friendship will be strained. She will neve get along with your wife. You will never get along with her H. Your friendship will be a reminder to the circumstances of how it came to form.
