I about fell out of bed last night. I was very very asleep, it was toasty and dark and very snoozy.
Until....*drum roll please* a pack of wolves or coyotes started yowling and howling and going on and there was a ruckus at the side of my house and I tried to see something out the window and couldn't.
I certainly don't want to pop my head outside and see a munched on BabyMoose there.
It was definitely a "scared straight" moment for the cats. They're on their best behavior right now. Pretending to be cute.
In other news..... It was raining when the kids left for school this morning, which was not entirely unexpected. What I didn't expect was the white stuff falling from the sky a couple hours later! Nothing but wet on the roads, not much o bare ground, buy probably an inch or so on grass, and plants! I think it is melting already!
Thanks Lissie, yep, the dingo didn't get the silly kitties, they were cowering under the bed. Great guard cats, eh? It would have been so much nicer cuddled up against something warm and friendly and not feline, but bleh.
