Maybe she is just tired... Think positive!I get like that sometimes especially with no sleep... like today I was in a bad mood this morning (been up since 3am) and ended up slamming my hand in the door.. which is now black and blue..

Nice surgery work..

Hopefully she'll come back in a better mood..

H,
Well, you just keep up that PMA, if she wants to be a sourpuss, that's her loss! Don't let her get you down before you take your great adventure!

Hugs!!!

I was thinking the same thing... I can just hear the Bionic Man sound effects now. Lee Major was a hottie. These youngsters on here are probably thinking, WTH are they talking about? LOL We sure are dating ourselves aren't we?

H,

She was trying to be clever on the phone with her Mom. that's all. OK, not nice to make it sound like you will take her somewhere cheap, but she wasn't thinking, she just said it.

Too bad she doesn't stand up and take notice of you. I would have been entertained all day if it had been my husband who had to crawl in the door and then fixed his leg in the workshop. We still laugh our heads off around here about the time my husband severed a piece of his thumb on a metal table at 5 in the morning and wanted me to put a bandaid on the spurting stump. He still can't see the humor in the situation even 4 years later.

Hey Sara,

The card I got is from a very nice restaurant. It is actually one of the most expensive in town... I signed up for the Birthday thing they have...so it's kind of spend $30.00 and get something else for $30.00 "free"...

Anyway today was one long day... After I fixed my leg I went to the hardware store because the lighting in the garage shorted out yesterday... (that was one of the things I left out this morning.. when I got home and hopped up the driveway I scooted on my butt IN THE DARK across the garage floor)....anyway I picked up what I needed and then some stuff to fix some things at MIL house.. Then stopped and picked up a fresh bottle of jack Daniels for my trip and some snack things.....finished the floor on the tree house....

Soooo when Son and I were eating dinner at the table and W was fixing her plate to take to "her room" I asked her if she got my valentine... She said: Oh yea that was really sweet"......
A positive... she could have just said "ya". She told me that in the morning she needs to stop at the party store and then to Costco to get the meats for me to BBQ for my Party....So I guess the day ended alright.....I was thinking ..... I get up before everyone..... Do you think that on the day that I leave I should maybe get some flowers??? Something to look at an MAYBE think of me while I am gone?

Ok so today was Valentines Day and besides of you foxy ladies here... the ONLY other person to say "happy valentines day" to me was the little boy down the street. My son's friend.....

Something just didn't seem right about these yeas... V.D.....

you are so funny H., errr, excuse me, Dr. Love. I mean, it's funny but not funny.

I'm not so sure about the flowers. I think it would be great if SHE was wondering WHAT you were doing. Other input?

Don't take Valentine's Day too seriously, H. It only matters when you are in grade school and everyone has a pile on their desks and you have none. That's bad! After that, it's a joke. A ploy by the card, flower and jewelry sellers to hawk their wares. It seems they still had inventory after Christmas.

I like the flowers idea. She will deserve some kind of token of appreciation after she makes the party for you.
