Valentine Martini
What you'll need:
Absolut Kurant
Raspberry Schnapps
Lime Juice
Asti sparkling wine
Edible rose petals
How to mix up that love potion:
Line the rim of your favorite martini glass with crystallized sugar.

Combine the Absolut Kurant and Asti wine in a martini shaker. Use ¼ cup of champagne for each 1 oz. of vodka. Chipped ice is ideal for quick cooling.

Add 1/8 cup of raspberry schnapps. Take a quick taste for 'quality control' if you must.

Add 1/8 cup of lime juice, and shake away.

Strain into your martini glass.

Drop in a few edible rose petals

Tell me how it is in your part of Canada (not sure where that is), but my daughter, son and boyfriend keep telling me the snow just keeps on comin'. Josh and Ashley will get down here soon but my son, Brandon just decided to go to the cottage which is further north with far more snow.

Happy Belated Valentines Day Barb and everyone!

Been so busy this weekeknd, B came over early thurs. and we've been prepping my office/comp room to paint. So running around and doing stuff, did take time out tho to go have a wonderful steak dinner and when we got home, there had been a delivery of beautiful flowers from him! We opend a bottle of champagne and watched Survivor, perfect night for me!

Best part of the night tho- when out at dinner, getting a call from Jill to tell me Beth's D was ok! I toasted w/ my wine again ( hey, one can toast twice! lol) to my amazing friends!

and now back to work! lol
