Good for you, I think she needed a shot in the a$$, its time. Its amazing how everything goes sour until their world is rocked a bit.. deal with it..
I think you did the right thing. I know how you feel about her and that you are tired of it.. so really your not losing anything at this point, especially since she is in the same place as shes been. It may have driven her further away, but that would have happend eventually anyway.
