Just got Xs response to my settlement offer. Not much in the way of surprises there. I just admit I feel icky.
Had a rough day yesterday... came out to a flat tire, had to call X to get D7 to school. Started to change my tire and like an idiot, I tossed the flat tire in the trunk before the donut was on so I knocked the car off the jack and had to start over. Much sweating and wheezing (cold-weather induced asthma) later I got the donut on, drove to the tire shop to have it repaired and risked my life running across the 4 lane hwy to my 8AM meeting. Came back out to find out the tire is shot so I had to spend almost $300 on TWO new tires. Ouch. So I'm a little stressed about that.
On a brighter note, I've promised my girls a trip to the Pacific NW this summer to go to the ocean and zoo and visit old friends and when I checked flights outta denver yesterday for July, they were amazingly cheap. So hopefully I can take advantage of that.
Work is good. Life is good. My house is a mess. And my stomach is in knots. I still know that this V-day beats last year's by a mile.
