How about a little story about a pole dancer and a tube sock wearing perve?
A writer that I've recently gotten in to is Janet Evanovich. My Mom had some of her books last time I was there and they're hysterical. Fast reading, good for a laugh, etc. I can finish one in a few hours. Makes a nice break from some of the other stuff I read.
