I guess we're on a similar time frame then. It's been about 3 weeks for our S. I wonder if it gets any easier Addie?
I have been through this before and it does get easier with time. What makes it really difficult is that I think about my sitch day and night. I have no one around me for support, even just to go out socially and do things with to get my mind off R (I know you're in a similar sitch), I only work a few hours a week - the days get really, really long.
Things will get better!!! We have to believe that.

I think we have a lot in common for sure. I don't have anyone around either except the woman who has befriended me. I'm so grateful to her. I just wish I had someone who spoke English...Spanish gets exhausting after a while!!! But she's a good person and who cares what the language is.
I'm sure it gets easier...I hope its faster than I think it will be.
Are you on the east, west of central Canada? You don't have to tell me. I'm from eastern of Canada

Jen, I just tried to send you a PM but it said you are over your limit. You may want to clear your messages box under the "My Stuff" heading at the top.
I am currently taking a Spanish class which I am enjoying. I have a basic understanding but really lack fluency.

Strange. I only had the welcome message in there. I deleted it so you can try to send another PM if you like. In my profile I added my email so you can try that if you like.
Spanish is actually easier than English to speak. But English is easier to learn because Spanish has so many verb and accent rules.

I tried an 180 today. I usually don't put any music on the steeo. It's not that I don't love music. Today I put on 3 CDs that I enjoy. H came home with D and was a little surprised to hear music put on by me...H loves to listen to music and his iPod is like an apendage.
He'll be back soon to pick up some more clothes. Hopefully he won't take off too fast.
He thinks we'll be better as friends and I know I can rely on him when I need him. I know he has a lot of regrets as do I. I have no hard feeling for him and I forgive him and myself for our faults. I hope he will eventually see what he'll be missing.

H came and went in about 10 minutes. Oh well. I acted "as if" we were best friends. Asked him if he might want to go to the pool (club type thing) with us on Sunday and for the first time in 2 weeks didn't say "no". Didn't say yes either but right now I'll take a maybe
We had a semi nice conversation earlier. I told him I opened a new bank account in my name and he looked really impressed. He was very interested to look at pictures of my 4 day old nephew too which is great because this is the first time in quite awhile he has shown much interest in my family. H said he'd help me find a job that I really wanted (right now we work together in our own company) Word of advice:NEVER work closely with your spouse!!
Independence is very important for me right now...but like everyone says we need to take baby steps.
Have any of you gone back to your churches even though you thought church wasn't your "thing". I'm thinking of checking out one of the English speaking churches here.
