Stay away from: R talk, anything heavy, reminiscing about the past, anything that you know is a "hot button" for her (i.e. right now I'm thinking the job thing and probably money in general).

Talk about: your upcoming trip and excitement about the trip, places you're going to see, things you plan to do, your party, the tree house, things going on with friends/family (good things), even current news events can be good.. keep an eye on the news this week and see if there are any funny, interesting, etc. stories to talk about. Heck with the weather we've had lately, even weather talk might be good! Excited summer is coming, looking forward to XYZ activities (but without pressuring her, just something like looking forward to getting out hiking again soon or whatever).

Make sure to ask her things that'll get her talking some, too. And if you can get her talking, make sure you're listening and interested, and ask relevant questions.. don't be thinking "what am I going to talk about next" - really listen to her. I dunno, maybe ask if she has anything fun planned while you're gone or something.

Oh, and definitely compliment her and be specific.. you like her hairstyle or outfit or shoes, her perfume smells great, whatever fits. (make sure it is honest and sincere!)
