I just found this really interesting article online on Psychology Today:
Myths of Infidelity:
http://psychologytoday.com/articles/pto-19930501-000028.html

LWB, if you see this, reading #5 brought you to mind (your H and how he seems to blame everything on you).

That is a good article Joie. I like the part where he says being in love does not protect people from lust. I think that is a common mistake. "I feel like sporking this woman; I must not love my wife!" DUH!

Hi Everyone,
I had a busy weekend.

I went to my DD's away game Friday night. It was over 2 hours away. We didn't get home until 11:30.

Saturday, some friends and I went out to lunch for one friend's b-day.

Saturday night I went to the Policeman's Charity Ball with my husband, yes, you read that correctly, my husband. We had a really nice time. One of the couples we went with surprised us all by having a limo take us to and from the Ball. The next morning I had a horrendus headache. I think the glasses were dirty, LOL. I won't get my hopes up too much, I will just think of it as a nice evening.

Hugs,

Hello, Yoyo.

This is so wonderful, and it sounds like you had a great time too. I agree, don't read too much into it, but the fact that it was positive is so great.

Thinking of you.

Hi Yoyo and Blue,

Sounds like a good time at the ball. I guess the thing with your H is to leave him wanting more.

Yoyo - Please don't get your hopes up. You and I have been let down way too many times. I worry about your expectations since they've been so much like my own.. Protect your heart..

Take Care..
