OK, just to be clear about what we are actually talking about here, "Liquorice allsorts (also spelt Licorice allsorts) consist of a variety of liquorice candies sold as a mixture. These confections are made of liquorice, sugar, coconut, aniseed jelly, fruit flavourings, and gelatine. They were first produced in Sheffield, England by Geo. Bassett & Co Ltd in 1899(now a part of the Cadbury's consortium)."
We're not talking about those long stringy red things that have NO REAL LICORICE in them! Any takers on those brown yukky ones yet? I'd really like to know what the attraction is!
