Barb, I'm trying still to come up with a Jack gift. Jake's easier. I think Jack wants money, lol. I'll probably go that route but have something for him to open.
Only you would suggest a hooker Bethie, and that probably would be a great gift for Jack! Jake would die of embarrassment.
Karen,
I don't have your email address in my e-book, so I couldn't send their pics to you. Maybe Bethie or Queenie could forward it.
Girls are so much easier to buy for. For Sarah's 18th, I got her a hope chest with lots of goodies inside. She still loves that thing. And besides things like that, jewelry is ALWAYS nice for girls.
I have a few days left to get something, so I'm still mulling it over.
Only a parent could know how traumatic that is. For some reason, boys don't get em cause they don't primp and share hair brushes.
Mt S8 has thick gorgeous hair and he did get them. I think it actually came from him because there were quite a few cases in his class. X's solution was to just shave his head. I refused. I was willing to do the work and pick the nits!

Whatever you end up getting the boys Happy, they will love it, cause they love you, you have brought them up to be wonderful boys, what a great birthday gift for you uh?

Really can't help you here, I have enough trouble figuring out what to get my girls, but they are much easier. My youngest will be 21 in March, I already paid for a bathing suit she picked out last month...........just a mere $100.00 dollars.
Really don't think your boys want $100.00 dollars bathing suits huh?
Don't forget to send me those pictures too, I'd love to see them.
Oh and by the way, I CANNOT look at old home movies, way to emotional for me. My wedding pictures were in the utility room, he found them and asked me why they were in there, I told him I didn't want them so he took them. Beats the hell outta me why, but I'll be dead before I figure him out. lol
Good luck with your gifts, I'm sure they'll be great.
Happy! Your boys are sooooo dang cute! oh if I were only 18 again! lol
So, did you have trouble telling them apart??
I had a gf back when, she had twins, one of them was Rys best buddy in grammer school, she told me she would put a dab of nail polish on one of their big toes to tell them apart! That prob didnt go over well by the time they were 2 tho!
Anyway, very handsome boys indeed!

I don't get to AOL much anymore but that's where all my email addresses are. I THINK I know which one is yours, and will attempt to send them to you - I sure hope some work-related person doesn't get it!
Believe me Friend, my boys would think I was nuts if I bought them $100 bathing suits! They'd much rather have the $100.
I never once had a bit of a problem telling them apart. Their hari color is somewhat similar now, but when they were born, one was blonde curly hair and one had really dark straight hair. One had light skin and the other dark (still do). Oh, and if that wasn't enough, one weighed 8 pounds and the other one weighed just 6. I could tell who was who in the dark!
My brothers though are identical and my mother had to put polish on one toe of one twin to tell them apart. So I have heard of that.
I'd only agree to be 18 again if I knew what I know now!
Watches. Rolex types. Tell them women look at two things the ladies like
Watches and Shoes. Huh Lissie.
Since I do not wear shoes often and my watch is a scratched up walmart special for reading pulses I can honestly tell you the effect the oppsite of my wardrobe extras have.

Oh yeah Hill, like they'd take advice from me on how to dress... Well, as a matter of fact, one of them does. The other one thinks I know nothing. They both let me dress them up though so I must know something.
One thing about kids today though is they don't wear watches. They use the cell phone to tell time, to use as an alarm clock, and to use to waste time. How things have changed. No way would I give an 18 YO a Rolex unless I could buy it on a street corner for $50.
You're right about the shoes though. That's the first thing women look for.
