Hi SG & Glenda,
I really was lucky to find this job. I highly recommend the temp agency route. If you don't like some place they send you, just quit and say it wasn't a good fit. They don't hold it against you. This is the second time I've worked for a temp agency and both times they found me a job that I liked and I got hired by the actual agency.

When I talked to the mgr at the temp agency, she said "I know the perfect place for you!!" This was after I quit the customer service job at the bank after 2 days!!! It took about 2 wks for the interview to take place but I was hired on the spot. My boss had interviewd about 80 other people so, needless to say, I was flattered. I love working on projects and in this job I get to see them through from beginning to end. And, any project I take on is one less for my boss. She has a lot of responsibility.

Glenda, if your ship comes in, I really hope it's a "cruise" ship, cuz, girl, you need a vacation. BTW, a former co-worker of mine at DOD just retired and got a job on the QEII as a ballroom dance instructor for 6 mos. Now, THAT is the perfect job!!!!
