I did enjoy my day for the most part. H actually did acknowledge it in a decent way with his first message to me, telling me that he hoped I had a good day. I fell asleep before he got home. He got up early this morning when I got up. He offered to make breakfast and then quietly asked some questions......where did I go, who did I go with....etc. When I left for work I gave a happy.....see you later & thanks for breakfast!

Getting my hair cut tonight. Might try something new. TAL, you inspired me to do it!!

Karen, I have not gone to a Alanon meeting yet. A friend recommended a book to me that I might pick up. It's called "Co-Dependent No More".

Sheila, you are right. This whole thing has brought D3 and I sooo much closer. My mom really noticed it. Yes, lwb, I miss D3 like crazy, but you're right. She's busy and being spoiled. She's been spending a lot of time with my dad (retired), as my mom still works. This afternoon my oldest niece was picking her up for the afternoon. She LOVES this niece. She loves all 3, but this one is the oldest and pays her EXTRA attention. Anything D3 wants, she gets.....usually within reason!
