I am so proud of you. I KNOW how much of a deal this is. Watch the valium - it is also known as diazepan and is highly addictive. In the UK the pain clinics prefer one to be reliant on that rather than other meds - the general practitioners don't - just watch out for it. What sort of a dose have they got you on? I started on a 2mg dose 3x a day and have ended up on over 30mg a day some days as you keep needing more and more for it to be as effective. It can also make you feel a bit paranoid the day after you have taken it if you stop taking it - just be aware to keep an eye out for the signs.
