Small positive steps, what now?

Hi Kalni, After a year of this sh** I still beat up on myself for what I could have done, didn't do right, etc. Invariably there's an OP in the equation and the WAS demonizes the LBS as "controlling", etc. With the emotional support of an OP over time they get the courage (or lack thereof) to break up the family. In variably the OP is an OW/OM and there's at least an EA but it could be a casual friend or family member. Sounds like your C is one of the "whatever makes you happy" kind and you need to find a more solution oriented one who would like to save the marriage.

At any rate our efforts to keep our families together is noble but to a large extent we are like the blind leading the blind here in this DB effort and results are not guaranteed. I can't do half as good a job as the women here at empathizing with other women in this heroic effort but I do sense your suffering and frustration and want you to succeed in your efforts. And maybe it would help you to take a step back and take stock of where you're at.
